Did you attend the cinema premiere of The 9 Lives of Ozzy Osbourne at @MillenniumPoint on 4th July?

Yesterday, we were back at the SciEngineering Showcase at @millenniumpoint! We saw hundreds of school children visit, all exploring organisations that were showcasing activities promoting STEM careers. The BOM team shared VR/AR and mobile game, Mother Nature: EcoDash. Go team! 😍

The world premiere cinema screening of The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne will be shown in Birmingham at Millennium Point on 4 July, the day before a huge fundraising concert at Villa Park in the city. People will have 2 chances to see the film, at either 16:00 or 18:30 BST. The film traces Ozzy’s life, from his childhood in the city through the rise of @BlackSabbath and ensuing success as a solo artist, the venue said. At the end of the Friday evening, special guest @JackOsbourne for a Q&A with those attending the later screening. Proceeds from the event will go to the @CureParkinsonsT, @AcornsHospice and Birmingham Children Hospital charities.

The movie traces his childhood in Brum, through the meteoric rise of Black Sabbath and beyond. Profits will be donated to Cure Parkinson’s, the Children’s Hospital and Acorns. 🚨 LOW INCOME TICKETS ENDING on FRIDAY 18TH APRIL. We are pleased that this year, once again, Birmingham Pride will be offering a ‘Low Income Ticket Scheme’ In partnership with @MyBCU , @millenniumpoint & @ColmoreBID to ensure that Birmingham Pride supported by @HSBC_UK is as inclusive and accessible to as many people as possible. Low income tickets offer a 50% reduction on the full face value price of a full weekend or day general admission ticket. Low income tickets will be available for a limited period only, for those on a limited income. Tickets will be restricted to Birmingham/West Midlands residents and considered for those meeting the criteria. We have, in the past, awarded free tickets for seniors, who will still qualify for half priced, low income tickets if they are in receipt of pension credits or the qualifying, applicable support. We recognise that some people on a low income may not receive any state support, but still struggle financially. Again this year we will offer a low income threshold, details of which are contained within the online forms. Low income tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applicants will need to apply by completing a short online application form and upload the supporting ,relevant documents.
