@davehodge20 Fair take. Even with Canada winning that one, still think 5v5 is the way to go especially in the gold medal game. Just didn’t go in our fair this time, but I think most hockey fans on either side feel the same way.

We’re in for a “hate 3 on 3 OT” marathon, but what about the memory of Mitch Marner’s GWG against Czechia? That wasn’t a gold medal game. But it was a game that could have denied Canada a medal of any sort. So just score and win. Solves everything.

@Miller1582 The entire tournament was an example of how poorly constructed the roster was, just because they won games doesn't mean they brought their best team by any stretch of the imagination.

Today was the culmination of a poorly constructed Team Canada team. Management left a ton of talent at home that deserved to be on the team. Instead opting for guys like Doughty, Bennett, Sanheim and Parayko had no business being out there and it was clear. 4 years for Hockey Canada to sort their shit out on both the men's and women's sides.
