When you tell your student you can’t wait to read a book they’re reading and they buy you a copy so you can read it together?! HEART MELTING MOMENT 💓

Yesterday a student told me he wouldn’t be here Friday. I gave the good ol “you’re skipping school joke” he shared that his family is going through something right now and he needs to be there. This opened my eyes and reminded me I need to start off first with a check in.

Our lessons today were amazing!! We learned about chickens, how to make a smoothie, and how to draw a dog! These kids presentations are truly amazing!

Throughout this week my students are becoming the teacher! Today we learned origami, how to make ramen, how to bunny hop on a scooter, soccer moves, & more origami!

I keep finding hidden notes in one of my students work. To say she has made my "day" all week isn't enough! Very thankful for the smiles these notes bring ❤️️#thefuncoffee
