@Nick_Verd @adamlevitan Interesting.. I would think longer field goals means less yards needed by skill players to get there so less fantasy points. Also missed field goals creates opportunities for shorter drives and more TDs. Maybe a wash?

@adamlevitan Just so i’m understanding correctly, this leads to a decrease in projections for skill position players; specifically in TDs? Lower % of fantasy points coming from TDs?

Projection note: We recently tweaked our modeling to account for the most recent placekicking data. You may notice some differences in our kicker projections. Bottom line is more drives than ever are ending in a field-goal attempt. After hovering around 17% historically, that went to roughly 19% in 2024 & 20% this season. There are other new factors at play we're accounting for in the update, but that's the biggest one. Thank you for your attention on this Peak Virginity matter.
