For 6 months @DeptJusticeIRL have been hearing it ... #DirectProvision centres are unsafe. Social distancing is impossible. 3 non-family members per room breaches guidelines. Vulnerable people are at grave risk. Never too late to act. #KeepPeopleSafe #EndDirectProvision

Some of the vulnerable, traumatised #SkelligStar residents who have been repeatedly let down by @DeptJusticeIRL were today transferred to Summer Hill Ennis. 5 grown men, strangers, sharing a room. Are we just pretending that #Covid_19 is over? Or just for asylum seekers?

One of the great tragedies of the situation is that the men were abandoned by 'the system' for far too long, in a town that has wonderful people living there but is entirely unsuitable as a location for vulnerable asylum seekers.

And for too long the State defended the use of the Central Hostel in Miltown Malbay as a #directprovision centre - and paid a lot of money for it.

A brave campaign from the men placed in Miltown Malbay by IPAS & branded liars by @DeptJusticeIRL. Huge credit too to local supporters. Some of the residents were previously in #CiuinHouse Carrick-on-Shannon. It has to be next. Dreadful record ongoing. #ShutItDown

And all of them except for you, believed the claims. You stated on record that you did not know what to believe.
