🇱🇺🤝🇳🇴 Very good exchange with @jensstoltenberg and Sissel Kruse Larsen on current geopolitical developments and their impact on our economies and financial centres. A good discussion highlighting the importance of dialogue & close cooperation between our Luxembourg and Norway.

On our financial mission to Oslo with Luxembourg for Finance, we had good exchanges with representatives of 🇳🇴 financial sector, reaffirming strong potential for cooperation - from sustainable finance to innovation and digital transformation. A valuable step to deepen our ties.

Minister of Finance @RothGilles was received at the @EUauditors for an exchange of views. On this occasion, he held discussions with Members of the Court on the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), the quality of EU expenditure and own resources.

@RothGilles met with representatives of @ACAluxembourg. Discussions covered the state of the insurance and reinsurance market, the pension system and the attractiveness of the second and third pillars, as well as regulatory developments at national and European level.

Minister of Finance @RothGilles met with Ethiopis Tafara, VP for Africa at @IFC_org, to discuss IFC’s priorities in Africa and ways to deepen Luxembourg’s partnership with IFC, paving the way for greater collaboration to further mobilise private capital.

Minister of Finance @RothGilles participated in the public launch of the McGill Luxembourg Centre for Finance and the Master of Management in Finance. The Minister welcomed @mcgillu ’s new presence in 🇱🇺 as a strong addition to the country’s financial and academic ecosystem.

FICCI had the privilege of hosting an interactive Roundtable with H.E. Mr. Gilles Roth, Finance Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, during his visit to India. The session brought together leading voices from India’s fintech, AI, deeptech, sustainable finance, digital infrastructure and geospatial ecosystems to explore new avenues of India–Luxembourg collaboration.

I met with Shri Sanjay Malhotra, Governor of the @RBI, in Mumbai. We discussed the evolution of EU‑India financial relations, cross‑border investment and regulatory dialogue, as well as digital finance and opportunities for deeper collaboration.

At the @BSEIndia, I met CEO @SundaramanR for an Interesting exchange on India’s rapidly expanding capital markets. 🇮🇳🇱🇺 💬We discussed cross‑border market access, sustainable finance and the role of AI, highlighting Luxembourg’s position as a gateway to the EU.

Great exchange at @HSBC_IN on India’s economic outlook, and evolving trade and investment dynamics in 🇮🇳, 🇪🇺 & 🇱🇺. The conversation underscored the importance of trusted cross-border financial channels in facilitating sustainable capital flows.

🇱🇺🤝🇨🇦 Good meeting with my Canadian counterpart, @FP_Champagne. Establishing the Luxembourg - Canada Financial Sector Policy Dialogue is an important step forward allowing us to deepen cooperation between our respective financial sectors in a forward‑looking manner.

Congratulations to Banque Raiffeisen on its 100th anniversary! 🎂 Its cooperative model has long supported local communities and strengthened the country's economic fabric. Institutions like Raiffeisen are key partners for innovation, sustainability and long term stability.

@RothGilles received the delegation from the @Tokyo_gov and from @FinCityTokyo_EN in 🇱🇺. To deepen cooperation between the two financial centres, particularly in the areas of innovation and sustainability. And strengthening the ties between @LuxFinance and Fincity.Tokyo

🇱🇺 🤝 🇳🇱 I had a good exchange with Eugène Heijnen, Minister for Tax Affairs, the Tax Administration and Customs of the Netherlands. Our discussion focused on close coordination and shared priorities as Benelux partners in a changing European context.

Minister @RothGilles visited two key players of Luxembourg’s digital and innovation ecosystem: the Digital Learning Hub and Luxinnovation. Innovation is central to Luxembourg’s economy and to the future competitiveness of our financial centre.
