Am I crazy for saying that replay channels are okay?
I’ve had some friends recently get into fighting games and giving them a replay channel playlists of their character as a resource to see the best of the best applying techniques on their character is excellent learning

Not a big fan of channels uploading every online match just to farm views from other players’ content. I’ve already made a separate channel (Arslan Ash Gaming) where I upload my own matches, win or lose. That’s why you’ll be seeing me post more matches there. Maybe more players should start doing the same.

@overflowyouknow That's the main debate point I see alot. You can argue boosting reasons but that's pretty niche and we only saw wild boosting from a certain player. Personally I don't really care if points are awarded or not.

What if a fighting game allowed a once per day "plug" with a move like Yoshimtisu's su1c1de to counteract rage quitting? It can be used at any time during a match but the opponent gets a guaranteed win. Hard to say if that would increase or decrease the likelihood of plugging.

@overflowyouknow I've seen enough plugging discourse from S1 to come to the conclusion that, plugging exists and it sucks for the plugee but that's just how online is. Pluggers SHOULD get reprimanded in some way but intentional and unintentional disconnects are hard to tell sometimes.

I hope we all realize that, for as cool as it is to see an indie 3D fighter, R.U.S.H.'s only purpose is serving as a protest by the veterans against the Tekken developers. That's all well and good, but as soon as Bandai announces a Tekken Tag 2 remaster, R.U.S.H. will disappear.
