@zaconly She may be divisive, and you may not agree with her message, I certainly don't, but we have freedom of speech in the UK & as far as I can see: She's extremely controversial & not a very nice person, but we should not suppress speech because we don't like someone.

If the UK government ever went out of its way to prevent someone like Valentina Gomez crossing the Channel, or acted to detain her on arrival, it would effectively become a live case study. It would demonstrate something many people already suspect: that the state does have the capability to stop illegal crossings when it chooses to prioritise it.
