Pioneer Masters is happening. 398 cards. Explorer becomes Pioneer officially in December. "99% parallel to Paper" - an exaggeration I feel. Draftable, which is exciting.

Does your LGS have a "Pay-To-Play Policy?" Playing at my LGS last night noticed attendance is down significantly since they implemented a $10 play fee (purchase $10 at the store somewhere). I even saw 2 new people show up and walk out when hearing that. #MTG #MagicTheGathering

On average, the commander player will spend more on singles than the competitive player. But at events, there is no bigger consumer than the competitive player who is missing cards for their deck, just been bullied by a deck all weekend they want to build now and / or trade in their entire old deck for it.

As a vendor, no thanks. Many people don’t realize it’s $20k in expenses before you walk in the room to vend most magic events. CommandFests have been consistently the worst return on investment events i have ever done. And the sentiment is the same with my compatriots.

We are pretty sure it will be the smallest open event of it were to be included. But a) it is the first Nordic Masters that is a Destination Event (smaller LMS, bigger RCQ). There are more Destination Events globally to consider if consistency is desired. b) what @LauriKazuga said.
