I always laugh at yo-yo’s who don’t have the 1st clue what information the President had that forced this decision. Even politicians who despise him but were briefed on the situation seem to agree with this operation. I guess lotta podcasters know better. 😂. Gotta keep the lights on somehow. Borderline traitors if you ask me. Iran is a terror nation with a long history of some of the worst human rights atrocities in the world. Nobody disputes that fact.They hate Americans. They hate Israel. They hate all Jews. They hate the West. They would kill us all if given the chance. They just murdered tens of thousands of their own people. The rest of the Middle East is on our side. The Iranian people are on our side. It isn’t that complicated to support our Troops and our country this morning. We are on the right side here. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Was I Wrong?? I need to know what’s social norms.
Last night I took my boss from STL to @Pluckers. I’ve been going there for decades & bragged about them. So we’re sitting at the bar, enjoying a few delicious DosX, when the bartender walks up & says, “Hey, I poured someone a wrong beer, it’s a Modello, do you want it”? I said I wasn’t a fan but not to let it go to waste, and she gave me the beer.
A little later another bartender came over looking at the tab & said “2 Dos’ and a modello”? I replied that I didn’t order the modello but the bartender gave it to me. That was it. No griping, nothing. Shortly after a manager walks over and says “I hear you have a problem with your tab”?
“No ma’am I don’t have a problem at all, I think there’s a little confusion. One bartender poured someone the wrong beer so she gave it to me”.
This is where it gets fun:
So she rudely says “we don’t give out free beers, you consumed it”. To which I said, “wait a minute, she offered me the beer or was going to throw it out, correct”? The manager then rudely snaps at me that the “bartender made a mistake and she should have poured it out & not offered it to you”.
Taken aback by her tone and attitude I responded, “so if I didn’t accept what she offered, you were pouring it down the drain anyway. But because I accepted, I’m paying for a beer I didn’t order”?
Her final reply, “if thats a problem you can pay for your 3 beers (including the modello) and leave”.
Needless to say, I’ll never go there again. But the question is,was I wrong to assume the beer offered was “on the house”? (Ps, I paid for all of them).
