You keep talking about nepotism. That’s not what this even is. Lindsay won the seat, his term is up in November. A primary will be help in a few weeks, a runoff if necessary 2 weeks after, then a general election in November. This is not a big deal. She’s a place holder that will vote as the seat holder would have. Relax. Good lord. You seem overly bitter because the dude died & you don’t get to appoint who you want for basically 30 days of work before the people vote. The fake bs outrage is insane. Because it’s not a replacement. It’s a representative until the people of South Carolina vote in August and then November. She knows how Graham would have voted, as the elected senator from South Carolina, than his sister who he adopted and raised after his parents died. She will fulfill the obligation of his seat great. It’s not that complicated.

I really dislike the “I’m committed” but I’m gonna take visits, tweet at other schools etc thing. You don’t get engaged then start seeing other people & post pics w/ them just to make sure. If ur not sure what you want or it’s about attention & ego then don’t commit, if you’re committed- be committed. Shouldn’t be this hard.

I graduated in 1986 (yeah that old) I also played baseball and lots of guys at Duncanville did who played football. None of my teammates left school early because it wasn’t a thing. I also wasn’t recruited at all because i was a 5’8 135 lb WR. Although i did recieve a letter from Tech.

(I know because I only received one letter from a college and wasn’t recruited) After that, you signed in February and didn’t go to school early. You weren’t on campus early were you? I think your old enough that wasn’t a thing.

Why would a school not be talking to additional options for someone who’s taking visits to other schools, posting pictures in other teams gear, etc? I know this, when I was being recruited schools told me they’re not offering anyone until I told them no. Of course they’re talking to backup options. But once I publicly committed it was done.

@LeroyJe09755415 I hear you. My point is that I was a 5⭐️. If I wanted to go see stadiums & take trips I wouldn’t have committed. Once I comitted I was done. By definition I don’t think your’re “committed” if you’re eating meals and laying your head on a pillow someone else is paying for.

@ChanceMock I used to understand this a little prior to NIL. Kid wants to see some games, schools and parts of the country he/she may not have been exposed to. I get that… but not post NIL.

@UTFootballEdits For sure, and I’m an advocate for getting it while you can. But again, if that what you want to do- don’t commit. It’s really that simple.
