DCPS is excited to announce Mr. Lawrence Dance as the new principal of @MinerElementary for School Year 2022-2023.

Join us THIS SATURDAY June 4 from 11am-noon for our monthly @MinerElementary Mutual Aid Network #community table. We will have PPE, cleaning supplies, food, clothes, and more. As always we are grateful for the support & solidarity from our friends & partners at @ServeYourCityDC.

You must be enrolled in school for at least 48 hours before you will be able to enroll in aftercare. If you have not completed your school enrollment or have outstanding forms such as proof of residency, please submit by June 3 to ensure you can enroll in aftercare.

Trilby Hillenbrand empowers each K-5 student she teaches to view themselves not just as learners, but as engineers, inventors & scientists! Students look forward to her hands-on lessons, whether building robots or trying to stump her science knowledge. #TeacherAppreciationWeek

Happy #nursesappreciationday to our very own Nurse Gray & all the school nurses out there working so hard to keep our students safe. Your work has been so critical, particularly this year as we have returned to school during a pandemic, & we want you to know how grateful we are!

Today has been so much fun! @walkrollschool to school day has been a success thanks to our amazing @MinerElementary community (including our new Interim Principal Ms. White) and the awesome work of @W6PSPO (particularly @Sew20003M and @sandramoscoso). Another one for the books!
