An incident played out at/near Mall of America before 3 p.m. involving a report of a possibly armed male. Originally reported by security at one of the mall stores. The suspect was confronted over a theft and unzipped his bag. No weapon was seen at that time and security disengaged. Suspect: BM, wearing all red, cross body bag, with a BF in all gray. The pair fled from police outside the mall and the split up. The BM ran into a nearby BLN ramp and was reaching for something. Lakeville K9 responded to assist. The suspect was hunkered down in a tree line. The suspect was taken into custody about 3:45 p.m.

This might just look like a regular picture but whenever it pops up.. I remember that exact moment… 7 years ago my kids had just picked me a dandelion bouquet (favorite) . It was Mother’s Day. State Troopers were dispatched to I-35E near County Rd 96 in White Bear Lake for a possible domestic situation. A passerby reported to dispatchers that there appeared to be an adult kneeling on a child. The vehicle left before troopers arrived, however dispatchers were able to follow the van on traffic cameras to I-694 near McKnight Rd N. Troopers were able to stop the car and was determined the child was having a mental health crisis and requested paramedics to respond.
