Why I have problems marketing my book Children of Strife: The Arsonist: Its multiple interconnected narratives, each rich and complex, resist a single, catchy tagline. The origins and motives of antagonistic threats remain elusive, complicating efforts to hook readers seeking clear stakes. The unique terminology and intricate world-building may intimidate casual fantasy readers. Its blend of gritty realism and mystical elements defies a single genre, potentially confusing some audiences. It’s a character-driven dark fantasy, diverging from traditional quest-driven epics with clear heroes and villains.

Why I have problems marketing my book series: It’s a retelling of Norse Mythology but all the characters are mortal humans. It reads like historical fiction but it’s set in a secondary world. It’s low to no magic. It’s not epic fantasy. People think of Marvel when I say Thor, Odin, or Loki. Its a whole entire mythology weaved into a single narrative. Confusing names. Thor is a ginger.

Why I have problems marketing my book series: 🧚 There are Fairies, but not your typical Fairies. 🏹It's an epic fantasy but focuses on dialogue and character moments, not big battles and fight scenes. 🌙Large cast of mostly women. 🔆Ceremonial magic! 💚💜🤍
