On this day in 1913, Leo Frank, 29, brutally raped and murdered his 13 year-old employee Mary Phagan. Frank was president of the Atlanta chapter of the Jewish chauvinist fraternal group B'nai B'rith. B'nai B'rith founded the ADL to advocate a hoax that a Black man did it.
