They locked my account down recently for “suspicious activity” and made me wait a period of time before I could transfer my assets off the CEX. Seemed weird to me. I’ve had an account with them for a number of years.

@WehleRX That “top up margin” message isn’t normal for a locked account—it usually points to a stuck or mis-triggered risk flag/bug, not an actual requirement. Did they give you a case ID or escalate it to a specialist team?

@TheSlushii88 That’s usually flagged as an unexpected/irregular deposit, so it gets held for review rather than auto-reversed. Have you opened a ticket or reported the transaction ID for that deposit yet?

How did the change from Coinbase Wallet to Base app somehow make things exponentially worse? As a mobile wallet app, it's basically unusable now. Gg y'all.

@walasavagephoto It’s not that functionality was removed—it’s a shift to the Base-integrated architecture, which requires wallet reinitialization and session revalidation. When that doesn’t fully sync, it can feel broken or unresponsive.

@MirandabaseOps_ I've talked to @Coinbase support team 20 times including verification of ID, uploading passport, ID :) and finally gave up. I'm not alone.
