Such an important point. I do think though (obviously we aren’t doctors) that pharmacists in general are very good at viewing the patient as a whole & managing their medicines in the context of all their co-morbidities not just the one they might be struggling with right now.

Medicine is set up for narrow & acute conditions, not chronic & complex. People don’t know this until you get a multi-system disease. Specialists specialise. There is no ‘Doctor’ role that connects dots & reviews multi-disciplinary research to treat you. You are on your own.
