As someone who works in game engines...that's not a shadow. Shadows from a front light won't pull away from the shirt edge if the shirt was casting the shadow. It's a rendering bug called "peter panning" and engines work hard to eliminate artifacts like that. Whatever it is, it's strange. 😂 But most times, ya, just an optical illusion.
