People throughout the day at the Nagar Kirtan in Downtown Winnipeg raved about our "different attire" and loved hearing and learning the "Why?" behind it all...
These weird Twitter and Tiktok accounts are a tiny bubble in what is otherwise a great accepting community.

There was also no holdback from the city, organizers, and police when the procedures of the Halla was discussed.

According to Sikhs, their swords are to "protect the weak" -- so how does one do that unless he intends to use it? I thought it was purely ceremonial/dull?
Also, the rest of us are supposed to feel safe while telling us "cry all you want, you can't stop us".

Was in the mall today in Winnipeg and walked into 15 of these men carrying swords. I managed to run into a few of them again at the other side of the mall and took a quick video. So, I'm wondering if I can carry a sword without being arrested? Two-tier policing on display.
