Wishing all the children and their families all the best for the appeals process. So wrong that they can’t be heard in person.

#misplaced62 it's appeals process for us 😓 A stressful situation that could've been prevented by a competent council. I have proof they knew this to be a bulge year in our catchment before the pandemic yet no provisions were made. The knock on effects are huge. We fight on! 💪

@chellemccann @BACA_UK Not sure we understand the question but if it is: if places were available at Patcham and/or BACA would that help? The situation is the same, individual children separated from friends, travelling miles, alone. It’s not about the allocated schools. Never has been. #62needyou

@Misplaced62 Can I ask if spaces are at the next schools nearer or if bulge year at Patcham or @BACA_UK would this help the situation? These have space and also no building works which are the reason safety is apparently compromised this year?

This is NOT, nor has it ever been, about the schools #Misplaced62 have been allocated. Don’t twist their words. This IS about individual children being separated from friendship groups, facing long, multiple journeys. Alone. Following a year of lockdown and anxiety. #mentalhealth

That is a separate and very important issue and campaign, but is not the responsibility of these children.
