@sweetanita Even if something is involuntary or accidental you can still apologise, because the person on the receiving end deserve that recognition, its respectful. The BBC failed to protect both the actors and the man with tourettes, the racist slur should have been edited out.

Imagine making a film about your life with Tourette’s to stop people misunderstanding your tics… Only for it to win a BAFTA and people still misunderstand your tics.

Badenoch copes very well with this hostile situation. Not sure any of the other party leaders would cope as well.

There is no explanation I can think of for the BBC’s failure to edit out the involuntary racist language at last night’s BAFTA’s - which perhaps explains why there has been no explanation.
