Just spent the afternoon helping to facilitate a workshop for future teachers on adaptive teaching. Me! Imposter syndrome is 100% real at this point!

I can't remember where I found this, but it was part of an AIC booklet & is fantastic! It has helped all my classes improve their analytical writing skills & construct interesting points - a great starting point which then allows students to continue their analysis in more depth.

@__codexterous I do this especially with exam texts and then I label what I’ve done and why - works so well with students!

I honestly think this has been one of the most useful changes to my teaching in recently years. A big, extra wide margin whenever I live model something.

No parent should ever have to endure what Ian Russell and his family have been through. They have been so incredibly brave. Online safety for our children and young people needs to be a prerequisite, not an afterthought. W

A very quick and easy thing that always works. Write up some of the key concepts -- in Inspector Calls it could be Privilege, Empathy, Status, Gender etc -- on the whiteboard and keep them there. Every time a student contributes, elaborately wave at the list and make them 1/
