Currently we have 0 girls that actively engage in sport in Primary, so we have created a lunchtime club with “try it” sports which are essentially twists on traditional sports to hopefully take some of the fears away. The girls (so far) are buzzing to get started 🎉

After 3 years in Kuwait (& 2 of them being a Y1 Teacher) I’m back in a sports hall… this time in HANOI 🇻🇳

Today Year 1 dressed as numberblocks for Maths day ✖️➗🟰➕➖

A huge win today, first session complete at Kuwait Netball Club… set up, coached & umpired by myself 😅 An exciting way to start term 2 in Kuwait!

As part of our “zoom” topic we set up the pod today as though an Alien had stayed over night in school…The children loved seeing the slime left behind, left over aliens dinner & realising there were objects hanging from the ceiling from the party!

And just like that, my names on the 3rd different classroom in kuwait & my classroom is ready for 28 new happy faces to come tomorrow 🫶🏼

Lucky enough to have visited 7 countries during this summer holiday. Now time for the 15 hour flight back from Bali ready for my 3rd year of international teaching in 🇰🇼

@MissBeard97 Haha, i live & work in Kuwait.. which very luckily is tax free & my school pay for my rent and bills!

@omggggeography No way!! In Bali we did seminyak, canggu, ubud, gili islands, nusa islands, Uluwatu & kuta!! But overall in summer I did… England, Poland, Ireland, Spain, Portugal & Sweden! Have the best time lovely!! Xxx

A few months ago, my children were colouring their self-portraits. I had one child say to me ‘Miss Hannah, there isn’t a colour that matches my skin’. It made me realise how poorly skin colours are represented in everyday colouring pencil packs. Not anymore thanks to Crayloa🤍✨

A very emotional email today. The hardest decision i’ve ever made was leaving PE midway through the year. I miss them all so much but so lucky to have made such an impact

As part of our ‘enchanted garden’ topic we have been learning all about sunflowers. All the way from planting our very own seeds to painting van gogh inspired pictures! Very proud of my little 6 year olds 🤩
