#G2Great @tlanglie Q2: As a teacher, you are the person who students look up to. It is important to create those relationships with your students so they know you want to support them and that you care about them.

#CCED421paras Q8: SPED paras have specific training to help deescalate behaviors, help with specific needs, and how to offer SEL support. For title 1 paras, you need the MN requirements. @LanglieTeri

#CCED421para Q6: Being collaborative with your para is very important. I have not seen techniques when working with a para because it is always for such a short amount of time. @LanglieTeri

#CCED421para Paras are utilized in my classroom not very regularly. One para will come in during math work time for a short period of time but that is usually it. Only having two paras throughout the whole school is difficult. @LanglieTeri

#ED421plc Q6: I don’t believe there are downsides to PLCs as they are important in the development of teachers. Having meetings every week not only allows for school collaboration but a check in with all the teachers and staff. @LanglieTeri

#ED421plc Q5: What surprised me about PLCs at my school is that they are every week and differ in agendas from week to week. They are very beneficial to growing as teachers. @LanglieTeri

#ED421plc Q4: Some ideas I have received from attending PLCs include how to map curriculum in a way that is easily accessible, easily read, and easy to follow along with. I have also learned the importance of collaboration and working as a whole school. @LanglieTeri

#ED421plc Q2: PLCs are led by different people depending on the week. Once a month there is a whole staff meeting led by administrators. Other weeks are teacher-led and usually with your grade level @LanglieTeri

@mbedchat1 A4: I believe games that are curriculum based are good ways to help students learn while also having fun. Games can be learning tools and not just looked at as rewards. @LanglieTeri #mbedchat
