@MissGordon17 Thank you to the staff who have helped in the planning, paperwork and organisation to make this week possible, to our parent and family helpers without whose support we would not be able to take our pupils out and to our pupils who have been brilliant. 😊
P7 are having a fabulous week so far, making up for their (sadly cancelled) residential trip. It’s been such a treat and so much fun exploring our own surroundings ☀️
The fun in the sun continues, we found some tadpoles in the stream and were inspired by our current class novel “Holes” to dig a hole like Stanley Yelnats 🕳️😎
P7 have been learning all about blood and the circulatory system for our topic of “our healthy world”. Today we made our own version of blood then uploaded pictures of them to collaborative slides and labelled each of the parts 🩸🩸🩸
The only thing that will settle this dispute is an improved offer to Scotland's teachers, one that is both fair and affordable to them. #PayAttention#EISStrike
P7 & P6 surprised Ms Findlay with an afternoon of dancing, singing and entertainment to celebrate her retirement. At times there was hardly a dry eye in the room. It’s safe to say, Ms Findlay will be missed 🥺😭
Congratulations to the winners of our ‘Guess the number of sweets in the jar’ (490) and ‘Guess the teddy bears birthday’ (17th February).
P7 were delighted with the response to their fundraising ideas. Look out for more in the new year…
P7 tackled a STEAM challenge today, to build a snowball catapult for an elf with a broken arm! They worked hard, tried out their designs and improved them with feedback - some even hit our tricky target! Great teamwork from all 👏🏼
P7 had a fantastic day at @GrammarAberdeen for their first transition activity, exciting science experiments and a chance to explore the school grounds whilst orienteering - even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits! Thanks for hosting us 😁
