@MrMcCarrick @PastoralMr @PastoralLead @PastoralGuy I was asked about how I would balance my time between teaching and HoU duties; how I would deal with horrible safeguarding issues (eg how would I support myself with dealing with them); how would I work with the team; what would I do about tutors not pulling their weight etc.

Week 1 as Director of Year complete ✅ and I have genuinely enjoyed the crazy change pastoral care has given me! I feel so lucky that I just love my school so much! 🥰

Our first PSHE dropdown day happened today and it was great! Kids enjoyed it, and so did staff! I’m so proud and pleased with how it went! 🥰

Might have to enter clearing but they’ve continued their learning and undertaken assessments in a tough and uncertain environment. Their resilience astounds me. Well done to my English Lang kids - you smashed it! [2/2]

Spent the morning watching amazing young adults collect their results - some who I’ve known since Year 7. They have worked incredibly hard and I am so very proud of how they’ve coped in such tough times. They might not have got the results they wanted or [1/2]
