It no longer serves a purpose, it has become a place of hate and vitriol that I will no longer be a part of. When my news feed is filled with more good than bad, more false than true and more hatred than heartwarming I know it is time to take my leave and go.

Twitter once served a purpose for me, I shared classrooms learning, explorations and discoveries. It was a place to connect, with families, with educators. It was a place of shared connection and celebration.

@AnthonyGermain This post fills my soul, thank you for this glimpse into a space that was my first classroom in 2004! I would love to be able to visit it again at some point in my career, thanks for the virtual visit.

We’ve begun our @barbreidart author& book study. We are mesmerized by the incredible illustrations & beautiful scenes she creates using clay & plasticine. We’ve begun creating our own pieces inspired by her work. You can see, we are taking it very seriously! @catalinaelemen1

@PGrade6 What a great field trip for Grace 6 students learning about electricity, truly bringing science to life. @TyroneSPower maybe a possibility here in Holyrood ?

Also, we went down the road and took a close up look at the local hydro plant and substation for science. Great to see where some of our power comes from and how it’s distributed.

I had a deep love of #Twitter as my PLN network platform. I am struggling with @X. For one - I hate that I can’t turn off the in app “you might like this” notification (unless I am missing something). I am also getting more spam. Is anyone else getting discouraged? @NLESDCA
