I’d have been lost without @PrimaryMathsHub this year! Their resources have been spot on for our fluency sessions, hwork and same day interventions. I LOVE the scaffolding scripts to support my less confident learners! £1.99 subscription ends this weekend - best £2 you’ll spend!

@MissRBTeach123 Most likely cohort/school dependent I’d say, we did the whole unit in a day which I prefer as doesn’t give too long to leave questions unanswered. If we’d have watched making babies 1 and had a gap before part 2 I would have had a confused class needing more info

@MissMinoliYear6 Maybe it helps that we block it? We have a three week topic block of Paradise Street, science linked to the reproductive system, puberty changes, emotional changes, a midwife coming in to talk about her job etc. Definitely depends on your cohort.

@MissRBTeach123 Definitely more contemporary and accessible though I can’t agree with the nothing cringey or no embarrassed children part - nor would some of my class!

@MissMinoliYear6 I love that it is accessible and real, nothing cringey, most questions are answered in the episode or the follow up Delving Deeper , that it links to our faith and the children feel empowered and not embarrassed.

Telling my class I’m pregnant again was a different experience now we’re in Year 6 but equally as exciting 🙊🥰

@MissMinoliYear6 @mrlockyer It’s only a small thing but leaving the books open at the page that needs to be marked is such a time saver.

@mrlockyer We also have a spare desk, at the end of each lesson, exercise books that need marking are left open on this spare desk so after school it’s all in the same place

@mrlockyer Mon AM I print the timetable for the week then first child in the classroom uses it to put up the visual timetable for us each day. Every child puts their reading record on my desk open and ticks their name if having school lunch. Date and LIs for am lessons on the board to write

@MissCTT20 Yes exactly - that’s where you buy all the scripts and music from etc so it’s all included ☺️ we’ve used MTI a few times and they’re great! Make sure to get a perusal script so you have a digital one as well as the paper books they send you
