So now with a baby who will be just 3 months old, I get ready to return to work on a part-time basis! Finally back in the PE Department, but also teaching Science and PSHE at an amazing brand new school with all the facilities!! How did the mamas cope with returning?? 😩👶🏻 2/2

As we get ready to start a new academic year, I wanted to reflect on the last one! What a crazy year it was - moving back from the Middle East ✈️, securing new jobs but as a teacher of Science 🤯🧬, then in June having our most beautiful baby boy 👶🏻🩵! 1/2

First half term firsts: Teaching in the UK as qualified teacher✅ Teaching science (not PE like I trained) ✅ Assessments, Marking and Feedback ✅ Trying to find a “teacher” wardrobe other than sports clothes - this was by far the hardest ✅ Proud in an understatement 😁😃

Day One - full time science teacher back in the UK! Total contrast from a PE teacher in Qatar, what a whirlwind few months but finally feeling settled again and getting back into a routine 🤯⚽️🥼🧬

Living abroad can be one of the toughest situations but when you are lucky enough to have family here (and friends that have become family) then everything becomes so much easier. Some days can be so tough but sometimes, all you need is people ❤️
