It seems Waterstones has "come out of the closet" for #PrideMonth. A few weeks ago we did an interview about how large businesses need to support LGBTQ+ people all year round and not just at pride month, and on the 1st day of #PrideMonth2023 they have it back as one of their top banners and in their drop down menu. We don't only exist for one month a year! Instead of buying from large businesses who just monetise #PrideMonth and go support your local LGBTQ+ businesses 📚🌈❤

Opened my Poetry Cafe with S3 today, beginning with a tasting menu of poems on a variety of themes and topics 🍲

@easyJet flight for tomorrow morning cancelled due to strike with less than 24 hours notice. I support industrial action but I’m not convinced that EasyJet only just found out the flight can’t go ahead. Absolutely gutted 🥲

Today the Highers were revising Tone and were picking out examples of songs that matched each of the tones below. They came up with very interesting results - some examples from musicals, an entire Taylor Swift table, even some Disney songs. Here are my picks! #RUAE @_stcolumba
