I’ve connected B2 ON Language continuum w/the UFLI scope and sequence. (Blue - kindie, green - gr1, yellow - gr2). Anyone else do this yet? (Review concepts were a given, I just didn’t highlight) I’d love to chat to see if you’ve found the same or if I should make some changes.

Building boats and testing their buoyancy in grade 2! We made sure to use appropriate materials that would repel water. Many boats had fishing poles, flags, and many other cool touches 🎣 🇨🇦

We have been learning all about energy in grade one. We focused on ways we can save energy. With Earth Day coming up this weekend, we spent some time building some Earth representations for #STEAMWeek !

For Valentine’s Day we got in the groove by playing Cupid’s Assistant 💘 Assistants had to try and tag a friend, switch roles, then shoot their “bow and arrow” through their matching coloured hoop before going to tag the next assistant! So much fun on love day 💓✌🏼

Another great way to use recording buttons in class. Practicing phoneme isolation in a play-based way!

The Gr 2s did fun agamographs for our next unit! We will be learning all about simple machines 🔩🛞
