Every Friday, all Ironia Elementary students gather for 15 minutes in the hallway with their teachers for the "Reading Train." It's a great opportunity for our students to share meaningful connections with one another and bond over their favorite books!

Couldn’t agree more about where our time and effort should be focused. Small-group synchronous lessons are powerful. It is not about perfectly-taped lessons, but about conversations with students. Those conversations are more likely to happen in small groups.

It takes 40 minutes to prep for 20-min voiceover of slides lesson. We're too compulsive & try to make it perfect. Instead you could do 3 small group synchronous lessons in same total time (hour) then use best recording for kids who didn't join you. Bet by 3rd lesson it's perfect!
