As autumn approaches, consider the math possibilities after reading Twelve Days of Autumn by Sherri Maret. Pose probs like "How many animals were seen on the 4th day or 10th day?" or up the challenge by asking how many animals were seen during all 12 days. @nctm @MathEdLeaders

@goonie15 @NCTM @ncte @MathEdLeaders Error analysis is one more way to get students reflecting about and analyzing mathematical thinking. And writing about it challenges them to put their analysis/thinking into words.

@SueOConnellMath @NCTM @ncte @MathEdLeaders Great article Sue! One of my teachers is using math journals to incorporate more writing, wondering if she would be open use them for error analysis. Great way for them to think through the process and refine their mathematical communication.
