Did I need it? No. Is my old keyboard broken? Also no. But I don’t care! I love it! Anything to making writing more fun is very welcome!

Every year when yr11 leave, I am reminded why I love my job. My yr11s are truly a dream. These snippets from cards are going to keep me going through the hard times, when I feel like a bad teacher.

Proud teacher doesn’t even cut it. One of my Yr11s has written her own poem, from the perspective of the Duchess as a response to MLD. Oh and also pre-annotated it in case we wanted to teach it. What a superstar.

What a truly beautiful message to wake up to. This young man has completed an MSc and found me on LinkedIn. I feel old but truly grateful 🥹

The most heart-warming moment of the day. Had 15 minutes spare with Year 8 today and got them to create ‘Good Luck’ cards for Year 11 & their GCSEs. School spirit at its best. These are a few..

Tried a new tactic today for Fri P5 getting top set yr11 students to annotate models with the mark scheme, they did me proud (as they always do) 🥹
