It’s crazy that as a teacher with a masters and almost 10 years experience, my end of month paycheck is completely GONE after grocery shopping and paying rent. I feel like I work to live instead of enjoy life 🤦🏻‍♀️ So discouraging every month.

Quasha Furr of Gordon-Reed K-6 and Fabiola Rosales from Milam Elementary presented on a wide range of small group options tonight. The ELA department is lucky to have such knowledgeable, committed campus coaches in its extended family.

During our geography unit, students designed their very own islands! The goal was to apply mapping skills while showing creativity. I’d say my #swiftie of a student had a goal in mind when designing her island!

White House History Teacher Institute- Reception Night

Yesterday, our teachers were invited to the @WhiteHouse, where they were able to step inside and imagine the over 200 years of rich history. Thank you @WhiteHouse for giving us a once in a lifetime tour of the People’s House. #whhti23
