Just had a kiddo in elementary Autistic support participant in an entire Disney Workout. The staff in his classroom were shook & said they have never seen him that engaged in anything like that. 🥹❣️ #AdaptedPE

2nd class: rearranged class 3 based on class 2 (at a different building). 3rd class: drive to building 3, call class to go to original time, different location. 2nd class: drive back to building 2 for APE class at 'correct' new time. 🙃🙃🙃 #AdaptedPE

An #APEteacher : A Memoir 1st class of day: told the gym is unavailable, make a whole new plan for the fitness center, gym is then available the whole class period 2nd class: get to school with cart of equipment & PE teacher realized he told you the wrong gym availability time.

10 weeks of covering ✅ Did I look for other jobs… ✅ Am I exhausted… ✅ 😴😴😴

Found out today one of my AS kiddos that goes out to regular PE & has Adapted PE calls regular PE “gym” and adapted PE “fun gym.” 😆 #AdaptedPE

This school year I feel like I’m barely teaching & simply just running around the district taking everyone else’s kids for 30-45 minutes while they get their lunch/prep. (Oh, I eat at 2:30). Definitely not enjoying my job right now. #AdaptedPE #TeacherCoverage #OrganizedChaos

Had a runner/chased a kid out of the classroom in all of my classes today. At least they were consistent. #organizedchaos 😵‍💫

This school year = 5 schools before 10am 😵‍💫

Thinking about the lockdown plans/how I don’t have keys to every building I go to, during field days isn’t what I should be thinking about. But it is.
