Got invited to 8th grade night for the Middle school Volleyball team. Loving these relationships that continue past elementary. 💕

Spent my Sunday afternoon at the football field cheering on some of my previous students. Love being invited to these extras. 💕

These new sitting desks are a student favorite! Definitely planning to add more this year, 4 is just not enough!

This week my class started learning Mandarin! These second graders are enjoying Li Lǎoshī lessons. (And so am I!) @6thDistrictElem

First family night of the year tonight! With Grandparents Game Night. Love spending this time with families. Visibility is key! 💕

Haven’t tweeted in a while, but what a pleasure it’s been to work for a school board with a leader like @bearcatybulldog! You’ll be SO missed and I’m hopeful we’ll be seeing you around still!

@HollyRoth2017 Exactly! Having the clear plan is ideal, but the nitty gritty changes based on how the engagement and learning is going!

@Miss_Smallwood It’s a balance for sure everyday. I always have my lesson plan up but mix it up as needed.

A3: What haven’t I learned? With the need to slowdown and having 2 in person days a week, I’ve definitely learned the value of having a solid plan and sticking to it. BUT also following your gut and doing what’s best for your kids! #TMGenius
