Day 1 of running $1 → $4,096
I learned something new
at the start, I felt smart
the chart moved and my conviction formed instantly to buy the UP but my conviction became fragile due to short timeframes
at minute 1 i was like it is early
at minute 2 i felt right
at minute 3 i felt unsure but i didn't sell off
at minute 4 i need reassurance
last 30s the chart was still UP
i realized that most losses don’t come from bad predictions, they come from emotional time pressure
In short markets, price discovery isn’t about value, it’s about anxiety management so i managed it well
the closer expiry gets, the more you stop panicking if you bought the right side
always remember that the market doesn’t pay for being right early, it pays for being calm and taking profit
