A little update reflecting on the past year. I was so lucky to work in such an amazing school so close to home. I truly loved it, finally felt in my element doing the best job I’ve longed to do for so long ✨🤍 I’ve now taken the leap to Australia- excited to work and explore!

Such an informative day last week at the Bridging Programme for Shared Education. So positive and encouraging to learn how schools approached and integrated Shared Ed into their curriculums and school life. Promising progress post conflict👏🏻

Could anyone share or direct me to some creative PE display boards? Looking to create a more welcoming/eye-catching board for pupils arriving😃 @peclassroom @Planet_PE @Mr_PhysEd

A great day out to celebrate our Year 10s! An enjoyable day running round in Emerald Park😋 summer holidays are just around the corner!

Such a fun day taking part in the school talent show - “When I grow up” Matilda 😋 feel so lucky to have such a good group of colleagues around me during my first year of teaching!

@Missedgar2 Just a short term dip, K. Assess progress over the longer term - days like today build resilience for the next time. You might think they weren't listening - you'd be surprised! I'm sure you're doing brilliantly.

So deflating when you think you’ve made good progress with a difficult class and then today…felt like I was talking to a brick wall - a projector that wouldn’t turn on, diggers and hammering and hot weather outside didn’t help things 😩🫠

Still get so nervous ringing home to parents, anyone have advice or a few points to ‘kickstart/frame’ the conversation of sharing and discussing updates that are negative 🤞🏻 @MrTs_NQTs

Kevin Sinfield emotionally carried his former Leeds Rhinos teammate Rob Burrow over the finish line at the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, having pushed his friend around the 26.2 miles in his wheelchair ❤️

Positive feedback on my first action plan 🙌🏻 a very busy but enjoyable term! Now to relax, travel and catch up during Easter holidays!

A snowy morning with my year 8s👌🏻

Had a hockey fixture today at my old school, so nostalgic being back to the place where I was motivated to consider teaching and education as a career. Made even better, umpiring alongside my PE teacher 🥹 loved being back!

Before Christmas I moved school to a full time maternity post. It was a really difficult decision and one I felt guilty in making. However, I’ve learned that making a selfish decision is sometimes what you need and I am truly loving my new role! Reset and ready for the new term🤩

@Missedgar2 I always love a bit of human Bingo. It gets them active and you can learn random facts about them. have a grid with statements like 'has a cat' 'can do a cartwheel' 'plays on a team' then chn go around and find peple who match the statement & write their name next in the box.

Easy, interactive ways or activities to get to know a group and for them to get to know me? Any advice welcome! I want to start off on a positive note and thought a specific/easy-going activity could help. @MrTs_NQTs
