But biblically and historically, Christianity is inseparable from the Biblical Israel’s Scriptures, prophets, covenants, worship, and Messiah. Jesus, Mary, and the Apostles were Jewish. The Church rejected Marcionism precisely because Christianity cannot cut itself off from the Old Testament. That does not require endorsing any modern political ideology. It simply means recognizing what the Catholic Church teaches: the Old Testament remains sacred Scripture, the Old Covenant has never been revoked, and Christians and Jews share a profound spiritual patrimony from the Torah, Prophets and Psalm. So you may see that independently and based on our pure spiritual heritage both Christians and Jewish people can refer to the spiritual heritage of the Torah, Prophets and Psalms as Judeo-Christian Principles, or Heritage, or even spiritual civilization from which every one of us jews and Christians draw our connection to God and to Jesus Christ even in a separate way or through dialogue.
