MistCoin | Origin of ERC-20

The standard token was born On 3rd of November 2015, a small group of enthusiasts started to share their ethereum addresses on r/ethereum, following Ethereum announcement about their new wallet release, which supported tokens. They were eager to receive some “MC”.

Just cracked the source code of two 2015 DAOs by Avsa from the Ethereum Foundation. One held 100,000 MistCoin for 7 years and was attacked in 2022. 👀 The other led innovation and processed 5,467 $ETH in bounties. Both are now reconstructed, byte by byte. 🧵

@token_works Cool experiment, but you are omitting that all NFTs are sold at the same price whilst on a tradition memecoin market, the first buyers would have bought cheaper, would be in profit and would be selling for the eth in that LP

If Season 2 were a traditional memecoin, we would be at approximately $12.4M after 81 mints in one day. $S02 shows up on all trading terminals but is only tradable within the Season 2 contract, demonstrating how little buy pressure is needed to increase market caps.
