Thats looking at things in isolation without giving credence to the full season in context, anyways, we will see who they pick. There is already a plan to rejig the squad with more more suited profiles. Even Alonso usses a genegenpress, so we would need runners regardless.

@bxn071 He is more Klopp than Poch actually, his biggest weakness is that the man marking can be the death of them with a good transitional team of attacking players example their game against City and his teams struggle to maintain leads

Thats still lazy, CP plays a low block def and he gave them 3 goals. Control depends on quality of players u have and their technical ability. He has arguably one of the worst squads in the league yet is playing attacking football and has them 6th on a 15 game unbeaten run.

@MisterChels Let’s not even get into general control in games either. Sure it would be entertaining but it’s not what the team needs at all. If you’re gonna need to invest you want to invest in someone who commands respect, offers tactical versatility / adaptability and generates control.

@bxn071 Doesn't cover enough distance? Thats why I added Noah Sadiki because we would need at least 2 CMs to replace Enzo, Barco is a utility man that can play LB, LWB, LCM. Quenda can play LW/RW as well as full back, Van Hecke/Lacroix help in defense with mobility, Ndiaye a good 4wrd

@MisterChels Matheus Fernandes doesn’t cover enough distance to suit iroala, would need to be a Scott type player and then we’d still need another. That last point is a non-issue cause if it was “that simple” every manager itw would do it but they don’t😭

We’d have to rejig the team a lot for Iraola it just doesn’t make sense. - new cbs, - new lb, - Enzo replacement (he’ll leave) - probably another cm since the midfield will be intense - question marks over how and where palmer would play, - New Lw, ¿where would Quenda go?

This fanbase continues to love and enjoy delusion, theres NO way Liverpool have a free run at Xabi Alonso and decide to stick with Arnie Slot after what they've seen this season. Even Chelsea wont do that! They will wait until end of season, Clearlake using it to play PR games.

Chelsea's average age is 23.6. PSG's is 24.1. Never bought into the narrative that Chelsea's squad is too young. It's not about that. It's about signing good people and creating a culture of hard work. Thing is, Maresca and Rosenior's tactical model is similar to PSG/Bayern.

It's simple, he changed his entire way of football. He played the same type of football PSG played, high pressing, quick football, Sanchez played long, players played vertically. He caught PSG unaware. That clearly shows our players are made for that type of football
