@UtahCFBstats Obsessed with BYU because your own program is terrible.
Zero fan support
Zero tourney appearances
Zero wins over BYU
Worst record in 70 years
But keep talking about BYU.
English

@ute111111 Worst record in 70 years, worst team in the conference, zero tourneys in a decade, zero program momentum and zero fan support
*proceeds to try and talk smack
🤡
English

@iiTzz_Tyrell Utah still trying to talk smack with zero tourney appearances in a decade, their worst record in 70 years, dead last in the conference, and pathetic fan support. Most unaware fanbase in the country.
English

@AMarkham_UN Worst record in 70 years. Worst team in the conference. Pathetic fan support. But everything is fine.
English

This has been expected. If Utah wants, they will find another high-volume guard to fill up the stat sheet. They’re out there. Ideally that type of guard is a shooting guard.

Dear God, Thank You
English

I get dunking on Utah when they lose to BYU.
But BYU fans dunking on the program as a whole is weird to me considering in the BCS/CFP era, Utah has kicked their ass.
SoDak Coug@SDCougar_
Truly why do ute fans think the Big Ten wants them? - Mid Football - Mid Baseball - god awful basketball - Gymnastics and Skiing tho 🔥🔥 These people are delusional.
English

@UteOutsider Losing to BYU is a known Utah tradition. You should be used to it by now.
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @FreeeDummm @jennamfink And 28 would be the very last 7 seed - not as solid as people like to pretend. Add the other factors and the only way you can think there is a conspiracy against Utah state is to be willfully ignorant.
English

@MisterScoobs @FreeeDummm @jennamfink The funniest thing is you didn’t bring up UNLV, Q1A, or any of that shit until I told you to add the KPI into your metric argument. Adding the KPI put USU at number 28 in the average ranking.
English

@FreeeDummm @Trevor_Porath2 @jennamfink “Deserve” only if you ignore big elements of the resume (quality wins, avoiding bad losses)
8 is what was “expected” but USU gave the committee several reasons to be below the 7 seeds who all had similar metrics and multiple better wins and less bad losses.
English

@MisterScoobs @Trevor_Porath2 @jennamfink Sone none on the 9 line. Preconceived notions about mid majors from 1 team bid conference put them there, not the metrics or the eyes. I’m not saying they were a 6. But deserved to play a 2 seed round 2, not a 1
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @FreeeDummm @jennamfink “The metrics” have them on the 7/8 line. Some in the 7 range, some in the 8.
Then you are ignoring the very important details of zero at large wins, zero Q1a wins and 2 bad losses. Beat USF and UNLV and USU is a 5 or 6.
Or you can keep ignoring key factors and cry victim
English

@MisterScoobs @FreeeDummm @jennamfink We aren’t arguing 6, we are arguing 7. That’s where the metrics place them. That’s all you could talk about at first, but when that doesn’t fit your narrative you move the goalposts.
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @FreeeDummm @jennamfink Only if you ignore:
Q1a wins
Wins over tourney teams
Bad losses
No metric is going to put USU in the 6 range. Some in the 7 and some in the 8. Add the bad losses and no wins and Kentucky, UCLA, Miami, SMC clearly had better resumes.
100+ bracketologists agree.
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @FreeeDummm @jennamfink Resorting to personal attacks when you can’t contend with the argument.
There’s a reason 100+
brackets had USU as and 8 seed and it isn’t because of blind bias or hate against USU. They simply didn’t have a better resume than the 7 seeds.
English

This one became increasingly more expected throughout the season. I hope KD lands somewhere great!
Utes will be fine.
Jonathan Givony@DraftExpress
NEWS: Utah’s Keanu Dawes will enter the transfer portal, agents Brandon Grier and Rob Murphy of Equity Sports told DraftExpress. The 6-foot-9 junior averaged 12.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists this season, knocking down 1 three-pointer per game.
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @FreeeDummm @jennamfink At USF was Q1a and they lost. If you don’t have top quality wins you need to either avoid bad losses (like #111 UNLV twice) or blow out lesser teams to get high quality metrics.
You are free to just ignore everything and play the victim. No one is out to get USU.
English

@MisterScoobs @FreeeDummm @jennamfink If you want to go by “averages” how did Kentucky (29.3), UCLA (31.3) get a 7 seed?
They also play High majors to help that resume. No high majors will play USU. The only chance we get is a MTE and they still put us in the lower bracket.
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @AggieProphet @FreeeDummm @jennamfink Ok keep playing the victim and ignore every other point. You can always feel disrespected that way.
There is a reason the average of every bracketologist had them as an 8 seed and it’s not blind MW hate or USU bias.
English

@MisterScoobs @AggieProphet @FreeeDummm @jennamfink Do you know how to sort a list of averages? They are 28th if you list the lowest averages in order. You aren’t the brightest.
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @FreeeDummm @jennamfink It’s also not the committee fault that UNM and SDSU were down, or that they lost twice to #111 UNLV.
Look at Gonzaga - they blow the lower teams out to have top 10 quality metrics. Can’t use the bad conf as an excuse.
English

@MisterScoobs @FreeeDummm @jennamfink It’s not USU’ fault no high majors will schedule them. ISU try’s every year but they all say no, they are scared.
English

@Trevor_Porath2 @AggieProphet @FreeeDummm @jennamfink 28.7 = 8 seed. USU should’ve been an 8 (as did 100s of bracketologists). They ended up the 1st 9 seed which is pretty much the same thing.
Zero wins over the at large field, zero top 40 wins, zero Q1a wins, two bad UNLV losses were the main things holding USU back NOT bias.
English

@MisterScoobs @AggieProphet @FreeeDummm @jennamfink Why did you leave KPI out? I know why because that would USU at a 7 seed. You’re moving the goal posts buddy.
English

@AMarkham_UN Millions of dollars spent just to lose your best players and have the worst record in 70 years
English

This one is a big blow to Utah. Dawes wants to win, and he’s only got one more year of that. He nearly stayed in the portal last season.

English

@Trevor_Porath2 @FreeeDummm @jennamfink You are then ignoring every other point. Zero high quality wins and two bad losses is a big deal. Look at all the 7s and you’ll see this wasn’t just some blind bias going on. USU got the best seed of any of the 1 bid league teams. Beat UNLV and they are likely a 6-7.
English

@MisterScoobs @FreeeDummm @jennamfink You forgot KPI in the resume metrics that puts them at a 28.7 average . Also if you take everyone’s average resume metrics and put them 1-68, Utah State is at 28. 28/4 is 7.

English

@AggieProphet @FreeeDummm @jennamfink You don’t understand seeding. Ave seed = 2nd 8 seed on bracket matrix which had hundreds of bracketologists.
Resume metrics (highest correlation to seeding) WAB and SOR averaged 30 = 8 seed
Zero Q1a wins. Zero top 40 wins. “Double champs” of a 1 bid league means nothing.
English

@MisterScoobs @FreeeDummm @jennamfink Miss me with that shit bro double champs and damn near 30 wins is enough to be a 7 especially with the metrics we had
English
