Twitch is such a weird space. B/c what do you mean a creator I became close with, became mod for, watched grow (and cheered on) one day decided to take my mod away from me & push me out of the community and to this day, I have no clue what I did. I still think about it ngl. I do hope they're doing well though.
When it comes to running ads on stream there is no way to keep every viewer happy. But 3 mins of ads for uninterrupted 57 mins is a pretty good deal. If anything I feel pre rolls kills streams more than a long ad once an hour. Who wants to see an ad first thing into a stream

For the majority of adult users, we will be able to confirm your age group using information we already have. We use age prediction to determine, with high confidence, when a user is an adult. This allows many adults to access age-appropriate features without completing an explicit age check.
