It is SO hard. My son was exposed to porn at a public school in 5th grade from a child’s phone. I pulled him out the next day and homeschooled. That middle school now has a bad discord chat and porn issue and it’s a school with only 5th and 6th graders. These parents are lazy and have absolutely no clue what their kids are doing or looking at. Yes, having bark on my son’s phone and having the random phone checks and difficult conversations is hard and time consuming… but now my son comes to ME when he comes across things he deems questionable and it’s so so rewarding knowing that you’re building up your child to discern and have respect for himself and others.

You guys will be shocked to hear that all of the people with rainbow flags and pronouns in their bios don’t like the fact that I don’t let my kids have unfettered access to social media or the Internet. I wonder why…🤔

I don’t know this business or its owner. But I do know that we have a history of denying service to people in this country who don’t believe or look the same as we do. Look, neither one of us know all the facts because we weren’t there. While you can try to handwave over this all you want, we all know why she was kicked out. It’s the same reason you are replying to my post. You disagree with her political beliefs — and apparently, my belief that people shouldn’t be turned away due to their politics.

@SJ_WPS She was asked to leave a restaurant based on her political beliefs. If they had said, Ma’am, we need to open up the table for other customers. But no, they made it about her beliefs. The fact that they let her pay first is actually quite funny to me.
