I had a $230 restaurant bill, great service, and only $5 cash in my wallet. So I left the $5 rather than nothing. The waiter wasn't happy and told me that if I couldn't afford to tip more, I shouldn't be dining out. I understand why the tip seemed low, but the comment caught me off guard. Be honest... was the waiter out of line, or would you feel the same way on a bill that size?

Racism against Black people in America is worse than racism against white people in America. Both are bad, but imagine this thought experiment: Consider a hypothetical society of 100 people: 98 are Black and 2 are white. Imagine that individuals from both groups hold equally racist views toward the other. In that scenario, which group would you rather belong to? Most people would recognize that being one of only two white people in the minority would likely be more difficult. The prejudice itself is equally wrong, but the lived experience and practical consequences can be very different when you are vastly outnumbered. African Americans are Vastly outnumbered in America.

@0xDavecryps Age old axiom. With wealth comes influence and power. With power you can make bigger impact and changes according to your vision. That's why politicians covet money sources. It's not like the .1% has $1B in their checking account. It's all in stocks and assets.

If I had billions, I’d be paying off mortgages, clearing medical debt, and helping people breathe easier. I don’t understand the obsession with hoarding wealth while millions struggle. At a certain point, what’s the value of having more money if you’re not using it to improve lives?
