New Arweave partnership that i hinted at a few weeks ago, this time with @iEx_ec, a web3 platform for confidential cloud computing And without surprise they will use Arweave as a platform to publish proofs of computations on their network. I told you it was gonna be the next big usecase for Arweave, @aoTheComputer was just early to it. Now we already have @inference_labs and @iEx_ec doing the same. And i'm sure i'm missing some others too It works in a very similar manner too Imagine you want to execute some remote task that as part of it's workflow sends a prompt to chat-gpt. This means need your open-ai API key to be available to whoever executes the task, but you don't want to leak it to some random malaysian node operator. That's the problem that IExec is solving. Their set of node operators rely entierly on TEEs for their executions. So when you request execution for your confidential compute task to the network containing you open-ai API key, the network pick one of these TEE secured nodes, verifies it's attestation and sends it back to you. Then you encrypt your secret task based on those info and send it encrypted to the TEE node. It only gets decrypted and executed inside the TEE, which mean the operator can never see your code. Once it's done the node sends back the encrypted outputs and a proof of execution. that's where @ArweaveEco comes in obviously. What better place to store all those proofs and outputs ? - They can be quite large so it's too much for usual blockchains. - They contain very sensitive information so they can't be stored on some guys server where they could be modified or lost - They need to be publicly accessible at all time for verification by the network Only Arweave fits all there requirements. One interesting thing they built with it is web3Telegram. Basically you can send telegram messages to and from an ETH address instead of using telegram ids. You send your encrypted telegram id to their network along with your public ETH address. Now everyone can send a message to your ETH address directly and the network will use your encrypted telegram id securely stored inside a TEE to route it back to you without every having to reveal your telegram id to them. pretty smart considering your id is associated with your phone number if that catches on it it may generate big traffic and a big flow of proofs to Arweave, which will put buying pressure and deflate the circulating supply of $AR. Which mean price go up, which mean i can stop eating instant noodles, so i'm rooting for them and so should you
