@oprydai Most 'brain-based learning' in schools is neuromyth. The actual neuroscience of how children learn is more useful — and different. A modern pedagogical guide: amazon.com/dp/B0H4VNKYC9

how to study and learn really difficult subjects: 1. don’t panic. hard just means dense. it’s not impossible, it’s just packed. unwrap it slowly. 2. get a map before diving in. watch an overview video, read the table of contents, or skim the wikipedia page. you need context first. 3. use multiple sources. one book will confuse you, two will clarify, three will enlighten. 4. build intuition, not memory. visualize it. simulate it. code it. teach it to a friend or a wall. 5. tolerate confusion. you’ll feel dumb 90% of the time; that’s the price of learning something that rewires your brain. 6. connect it to reality. every abstract thing has a real-world analog. find it. relate it. ground it. 7. revisit the same topic after a week. mastery is not about reading once; it’s about returning after your brain has “chewed” on it. 8. don’t romanticize genius. smart people aren’t born knowing it. they just survived longer in the confusion phase. the truth is; learning hard stuff isn’t about intelligence. it’s about endurance, humility, and curiosity. you stay long enough in the fog until it clears.

@lionel_mora Unpopular opinion: the terminal is the best place for a teenager to learn AI-assisted coding. No copy-paste, real projects, real feedback. Serious beginner guide to Codex CLI, Claude Code and Gemini CLI: amazon.com/dp/B0GX315HM7

We built an interactive 3D module to teach kids about what temperature does to water. - You adjust the temperature in real time - You see the impact on the state of water and what's changing at a molecular level - You can unlock two secret states in there if you pass a quick quizz This is the first of a giant series. We're turning the open source @withmarbleapp curriculum into a full bank of these interactive lessons. One for each topic kids learn in primary school. If you are a parent or primary school teacher, let us know in comments which module you want to see next. Link to play with the water lab below 👇

AI is going to uncover thousands of hidden moments in history. Case in point: it just read a 2,000-year-old scroll burned into solid charcoal.

@GT_Protocol Most retail algo traders don't lose to the market — they lose to their own backtest. Overfitting is the silent killer. I wrote a whole book on building AI trading systems without fooling yourself: amazon.com/dp/B0H6VR1WYX

Thank you to the 7M active users who are now using Codex and ChatGPT Work. We have added a banked reset to everyone's account to celebrate the milestone. You can apply the reset in the desktop app or on web and it will replenish the weekly usage for you. Have fun out there.

GPT-5.6 Sol is already very fast but don't forget, "Sol" is expected to migrate to Cerebras later this month, which could bring all subscription tiers up to 100 tokens/s and allow it to dominate on both speed and price cerebras makes it cheaper, not more expensive

OpenAI is removing the "5 hour limit" in Codex. The catch: It's only "temporarily". 🗣️

Codex just shipped a very useful browser update. I don't need to reopen Chrome anymore. Import my cookies once, then I can use X, Reddit, or LinkedIn inside Codex, already signed in. Developer Mode can inspect the DOM, Console, and Network requests. Everything stays inside Codex.

Good news for paid ChatGPT users: OpenAI has temporarily removed the 5-hour usage limit. Looks like OpenAI has compute to spare.

Seriously, this has to stop. I've now set GPT-5.6 from high to medium (not fast mode, of course), and I'm still burning through my rates at an insane rate. My 5 hours are almost gone -again. I've already used up all three resets. OpenAI needs to work on its efficiency. This is the biggest bottleneck.

🚨OpenAI confirms they silently nerfed GPT 5.6 Sol “We ran some experiments where reasoning efforts were changed (referred to as juice values under the hood) and have reverted this.” Tibo first denies nerfing and then confirms the nerf happened LOL

openAI says they’re optimizing GPT 5.6 Sol so every prompt uses less usage, while temporarily removing the 5h limit… seems like we’re entering a different phase of the AI race… for the last 2 years it was all about shipping the smartest model and now it feels like the real competition is making those frontier models cheap enough that people can actually use them all day… honestly, i think that’s a much bigger advantage than squeezing out another few benchmark points..
Tibo@thsottiaux

Morning. The last 48 hours of Codex and ChatGPT Work have been intense! Three important updates: - Temporarily removing the 5 hour usage limit restriction for all Plus, Business and Pro plans - Rolling out changes that will make GPT 5.6 Sol more efficient across the board and that will be reflected in less usage being used so that it can take you further. Exact impact to be quantified and shared - We hit 6M active users, and are landing a usage reset in the next hour Go do things
