@ConnorBarr18 if you cloned ian happ 9 times and put them all on one team, it would be the best offense in baseball by a long shot

Why are Cubs fans so quick to defend Ian Happ? Just because he’s the longest tenured Cub doesn’t mean they shouldn’t move on from him!!!

@ryantadych @Cubies1986 @SamOlbur 13th with RISP is above league average. also, you don't need to be top 5 in the league in RISP batting average if you constantly have more runners on base than any other team. relax

@Cubies1986 @SamOlbur They haven’t consistently hit with RISP all year. They rank 13th with RISP and the man hitting 3rd in your lineup is ranked dead last on the team with RISP at .153.

Craig had to go for it there. Didn't work out. Mo was a bit guessy there. Can't blame him seeing 99 off the bench

@mango_deuce @buddyboy88888 @clarkisking1 100 home runs is well within standard statistical noise/margin of error. you need to see +/- 500 home runs to start actually drawing conclusions about the ball or league conditions

@mitsevox @buddyboy88888 @clarkisking1 Up by about 100 since May 5, 2025 Balls usually fly out more when the weather warms up so it’s pointless to measure based on pace right now But they are up compared to same time last year

Is it just me or are homeruns being hit at an extremely high clip??

@buddyboy88888 @clarkisking1 Wind blows out in Chicago all the time and it was still like the 5th highest LA home run ever recorded at any park and barely qualified as hard hit The balls are juiced. Not to the level of 2015 to the peak in 2019 but they’re back

Pat Hughes’ call of Michael Conforto’s pinch-hit walk-off home run. Cubs win, 5-4. Plus, Pete Crow-Armstrong’s interview with Bruce Levine shortly after the game. Funny stuff from Pete. (@thescorechicago)

@mitsevox @SleeperMLB Just because I don’t agree with a lineup decision doesn’t mean I want the player or team to do bad. I want to be proved wrong and win.

The #Cubs in their last 15 games are: 1st in Hits 1st in OBP 1st in Batting Average 2nd in OPS 2nd in Runs 2nd in SLG 3rd in Home Runs 3rd in RBIs This offense is on fire, and no signs of slowing down at all🔥 Credit: @SleeperMLB

@DStudenhauser @CubsGuy37 So now OPS is the only number we look at to decide who bats cleanup? How about the facts he lead the team in strikeouts? Or how he’s batting .185 over his last 7 with just 1 homerun?

Dodgers fans: “oMg WhY dOeS eVerYoNe hAtE DaLtoN rUsHinG?!!!” Maybe it was the time he called Amaya a fat f*ck. Or the time he said “f*ck em” about an injured Jung Hoo Lee? Or maybe when he tried to take out Adames at 2nd base? Or idk maybe when he called the Rockies cheaters. Other than that tho, you’re right I can’t think of any possible reason anyone would hate him

@TomG61356162 @UmpScorecards the model predicts how many runs a blown call will add on average, not based upon the specific following events in this exact game

@UmpScorecards Bull shit 0.06. This was a strike 3 call that would have ended the inning. Instead, France gets on base and Castellanos scores 2 INCLUDING the 3rd out. Do better.

@dailey9108 @VikingoArtico @MLB @Cubs it's still impressive to sweep both. no matter the disparity of the teams. you have to be doing a lot of things right. just look at the dodgers... best team ever assembled and they just lost two to the rockies

@mitsevox @HockeySeanie @Cubs That's one of the reasons they hate him... But the vast majority of MLB players are streaky. Just look at Seiya and Busch and how they just heated up after being cold to start the season.
