Ok folks, listen up. We have this thing called the Bill of Rights. It's the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution; they were added and ratified as a package all at once in 1791. This outlines, yet does not restrict or limit fundamental rights/freedoms of US Citizens, but also puts limits and places guardrails on the power of the federal government. These are not rights "granted by our government", these are rights you're born with, and are protected to you from your government. People have rights, governments have powers and authorities, sometimes ironically granted to them by the people with the rights. Governments do not have rights. Please, and this isn't me throwing an insult, but educate yourselves on this. Your rights are not granted by the government, your rights are only recognized, even if begrudgingly, by the government.

Even though Biden’s pistol brace rule was vacated, ATF is still enforcing the same legal theory.   DOJ’s response was not on our bingo card.   Basically, they're telling gun owners: “Yep, we’re still going after your braces. Nothing you can do about it.”

@WalshFreedom "The rest of the world loved and/or respected" is doing a LOT of work here - favorable views of the US have never been great. Though when you start breaking it down, US "favorability" seems to spike around the world when the US has weak foreign policy.

Donald Trump has taken America, a country the rest of the world always loved and/or respected, and turned it into a country the rest of the world now despises, laughs at, and wants nothing to do with.

The SAVE Act isn't about voter ID, it's about creating barriers to voting — rejecting military IDs, forcing seniors to find their birth certificate or buy a passport. They want to force millions of people to re-register to vote because they think that’s the only way they can win.

If condensation trails never existed prior to 20 years ago, then why are there photos of them dating back to 1940? There are more contrails in the sky now because there is a lot more air traffic. But they aren’t a new phenomenon.

@ChrisMartzWX It's strange. These things didn't exist 20+ yrs ago.

@MixterJames @RealPureLove @ChrisMartzWX That wasn't the OP. You singled that comment out because it suits your narrative. You're a disingenuous hack who creates strawman arguments while trying to come across as an authoritative figure on the subject.

You've certainly just proven that you shouldn't be referring to *anyone* as dense. Let me break it down for you. OP posted *contrails* didn't exist 20+ years ago. The note correctly states that contrails have existed since the 1920s. The 1920s is *more than* 20 years ago. And it's Gen-X, so slow your roll.

The highest effective/routine AGL during active crop dusting is 50 ft or less in practice. Much higher, there's reduced efficacy and increased drift risk. Contrails on the other hand, do not begin forming behind aircraft until around 25,000 ft. Modern high-bypass turbofans tend to form contrails more readily than older low-bypass turbofans, or turbojets. Contrails form when the exhaust plume mixes with cold, humid ambient air to reach supersaturation with respect to ice, allowing water vapor to condense and freeze. High-bypass turbofans mix cooler bypass air with the hot core exhaust quicker and more effectively, which leads to faster cooling of the plume, and reaching saturation threshold at higher ambient temperatures than older engines. There are studies you could look into that would help you understand these things, from DLR, Schumann, etc., showing high bypass engines increase contrails by 30 to 60% over older engine designs.

🚨LIVE BREAKING: Leader Hakeem Jeffries has just introduced a discharge petition that STRIPS all Ice funding from the DHS funding bill. The bill would FULLY FUND TSA and not provide a single penny to ICE. This is amazing. #FundDHSFreezeICE

@MixterJames @RealPureLove @ChrisMartzWX Right now where I live, there are dozens of crop dusters flying low and spraying pesticides. The pictures some of you are presenting as evidence of contrails remind me of that.

@tedlieu I can't tell you how many people I served with who were active duty - yet not US citizens. It was a LOT. So there's that.

@CultureWarGulag @RealPureLove @ChrisMartzWX Oh, well surely you'd know better than the photographer. How about these? The single contrail is from a 1963 photo, the other is from sometime before 1967 as published in Cloud Studies in Colour, 1967.
